Good golly Miss Molly

For as long as I can remember I have loathed politics. The tedious upkeep on what public figure said what about who, or what old ass white guy was caught with drugs or in some form of a sex scandal was enough to keep me convinced to stay away from the stress and headaches that paying attention to such nonsense would surely bring. However after the last 8 years of unrelenting governmental pooch screwing (awesome visual, I know) it dawned on me that there was an acceptable level of being informed. Watch a debate here and there, pick up tidbits on NPR and other mostly unbiased news sources and I was good. I still feel as though I could never trust anyone who was paid solely to make false promises and lie in public. It makes me think of Sprint's newest ad campaigns, I believe most people are familiar with them.

In any event the real reason I write this entry is in response to the Palin Biden debate that happened a few weeks ago. I am willing to bet the majority of my tuition bills that one of these two people will some day be president of this great nation, not because I want them to be, but because I don't believe either of the actual presidential candidates are going to live for more than two years in office (unless Obama really does start turning things around (fingers crossed)).

After watching the debate though I would definitely have to cast my vote for Biden, who clearly looked to have won the debate, but also doing it with an air of confidence and ease. If he were on an independent ballot i would probably vote for him outright, but alas, we should not be so lucky.
